Manteno American Legion Post 755
The American Legion is a patriotic veterans
organization devoted to mutual helpfulness.
It is the nation’s largest veterans service
organization, committed to mentoring and
sponsorship of youth programs in our
communities, advocating patriotism and
honor, promoting a strong national security,
and continued devotion to our fellow
service members and veterans.
The Manteno American Legion Post 755 has been welcoming veterans
from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome
all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you
to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is
to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for
our country, friends and families.

Manteno American Legion Post 755 donates $4,000.00 to the Manteno Fire
Protection District for the purchase of fitness equipment to be used by
Manteno firefighters.  Presenting the check on behalf of the Manteno Legion
are Post Commander Ken Taylor and Post Finance Officer Vern Lagesse.
Accepting the donation is Fire Chief Scott O' Brien, accompanied by four of
Manteno Fire's fire fighting team.
